2021 Franklin Township Road Projects Bid

Invitation to Bid

The Board of Supervisors of Franklin  Township seeks bids for the following contract.  Bid packages will be available for pick up at the Franklin Township building at 20 Municipal Lane, Landenberg, Pennsylvania Monday through Thursday from  Monday 17 May 2021 to Friday 11 June 2021 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Alternatively, bids will be available online at www.franlkintownship.us.

Sealed bids must be received by Franklin Township staff at the Township Office no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday 16 June 2021 and identified by the “2021 Road Projects Bid” in a sealed envelope.   Bids will be opened at 11:15 a.m.  The bids will be summarized and submitted  to the Board of Supervisors for consideration at their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. that same day.

The Board of Supervisors may award the contract at their regular meeting on 16 June 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  The Board of Supervisors expects to conditionally pre-approve the contract award to facilitate timely execution of the award upon receipt of all bid bonds, insurance, etc. without waiting for the next monthly Board of Supervisors meeting.

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its entirely or any part thereof.  All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Franklin Township.  The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond and certificate of insurance as applicable within 10 business days of the bid award.
