Route 896 (New London Road) Lane Closure to Start May 20th

May 20, through Thursday, June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility construction

 

King of Prussia, PA – Route 896 (New London Road) motorists will encounter a weekday lane closure at the intersection with Scotts Glen Road in Franklin Township, Chester County, on Thursday, May 20, through Thursday, June 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Work on this operation will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.
