Roadside Mowing Complaints on PENNDOT Owned & Maintained Roads

Franklin Township Staff continues to receive complaints about PENNDOT not mowing their road banks.  Due to the lack of site distance from the overgrowth at intersections and for roadway signage, people are concerned for their safety.

The Township called PENNDOT General Maintenance Number at; 1-484-340-3201.  Staff has expressed our concerns to PENNDOT as well as those of our residents.  

Franklin Township spoke to an adjoining Township today and they too are receiving complaints from their residents about PENNDOT not mowing roadbanks on PENNDOT owned roads.  This is all of our PA State Tax Money at work.   Franklin Township is encouraging you to forward this message to your friends and family no matter what Township they may live in within Chester County.  If this issue is a concern to you, please call PENNDOT at the above phone number.

North Clay Creek Road, North Bank Road, Chesterville Road, North Creek Road, New London Road (Route 896), Appleton Road, Strickersville Road, Wickerton Road, a small portion of Auburn Road between North Bank Road and North Clay Creek Road and Pennock Bridge Road are PA State Owned & Maintained Roads.
