Franklin Preserve Cleanup Day - February 26, 2022

This is the power of people working together for a good cause. Franklin Township, Kemblesville PA held a trash clean up at Crossan Park and Franklin Preserve this morning. This event was not advertised as it was thought just a handful of people could tackle what was there, well boy were we wrong! The 25+- volunteers that showed up filled an entire dumpster with everything in size from shell casings to full sized water heaters. Many of these items have been there for decades. This great group consisted of Township Supervisors, Township employees, Township Parks, Rec and Open Space Board members, members of the Hellbenders Bike Group, members of the Franklin Sportsman Association, friends and family.
