PUBLIC NOTICE

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Franklin Township Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on March 3, 2022, at 7:00 PM, at the Franklin Township Municipal Office, 20 Municipal Lane, Kemblesville, PA 19347 to consider a new Comprehensive Plan for Franklin Township pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.

The Plan is intended to guide future development of the Township based on recent information on existing and projected population and other conditions, mapping; plan recommendations for natural resources and the environment; parks and recreation; historic preservation; connectivity; community services and facilities; commercial and economic development; future land use; and the means by which they will be implemented.

A copy of the full text of the proposed Plan is available for public examination without charge on the Township website or may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost of copying at the Franklin Township Municipal Office during regular business hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., except holidays.  An opportunity will be afforded to all interested persons in attendance at the meeting to address the Planning Commission in the matter of the proposed Plan.  If you are a person with a disability and wish to attend the meeting as noticed above, and require an auxiliary aid, service, or other accommodation to observe or participate in the proceedings, please contact Jeff Eastburn, Interim Township Manager (610-255-5212), to discuss how Franklin Township may best accommodate your needs.  If you would like to attend this meeting via Zoom, you will find the invitation on the Township website – www.franklintownship.us.
