Chesterville Road – Motorists Use EXTREME CAUTION – Part II – June 8, 2021

Within the past two days PENNDOT has been back to this section of road and milled out a few more areas of this road.  With the flash flooding we are receiving these milled areas are starting to fill with water.  Anyone traveling this road should USE EXTREME CAUTION while driving this road. 

PENNDOT has not informed Franklin Township when they will be correcting the drainage and paving this road or if they are going to do a proper repair to this section of road this year.  There are still some very rough sections.

We encourage anyone who drives this road to slow down and take care. By doing so the life you save could be your own or of a loved one.
