Franklin Township Recycling
Residents of Franklin Township may place items for recycling into bins located at the Franklin Township Building on Municipal Lane in Kemblesville, PA. There is no need to separate glass bottles, plastic containers, cardboard, and paper (which includes newspaper, magazines, junk mail, phone books, catalogs, and cereal boxes). See SECCRA: Single-Stream Recycling for more information on acceptable and unacceptable items. No caps or lids on containers and no frozen food boxes, please!

Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority
Franklin Township residents can also drop off recyclables at the Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority (SECCRA) community landfill. This includes all the items approved for single-stream recycling. Many other items may also be recycled for a small fee.
Note: SECCRA will not accept any load from a vehicle in which the load is not securely covered. See SECCRA: Vehicle Rules for more information.
Chester County Solid Waste Authority
As residents of Chester County, Franklin Township residents may also drop off items to be recycled at the Chester County Solid Waste Authority (CCSWA), for free. See Recycling at the Lanchester Landfill for a list of accepted items.
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
Household hazardous waste may be recycled at any of the Regional Southeastern Pennsylvania Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Program collection events. In addition, both SECCRA and CCSWA accept some forms of household hazardous waste year-round.
