Membership in the OSC is open to anyone interested in preserving Franklin Township's natural resources and beautiful rural landscape. Lack of land preservation experience or any related technical skills should not discourage anyone from getting involved, as the OSC relies on a wealth of professional resources (public agencies, private consultants, township employees, etc.) to help identify and recommend preservation opportunities to the BOS. Anyone interested in joining or learning more is strongly encouraged to call the Township office, attend an OSC meeting or contact any of the current members:

There are no membership terms, and no restrictions regarding the Committee's size. New members are formally appointed by majority vote of the BOS.
