Woodlands Purchased for Open Space
With significant funding from Chester County and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Franklin Township is able to purchase 28.9 acres of mature native woodlands located off Chesterville-Landenberg Road. The site will provide open space for hiking as well as fishing access to the White Clay Creek and eventually may be incorporated into a multi-municipality trail system.
